For those of you who are, or want to be, freelance copywriters, marketing writers, business writers, corporate writers, and every other kind of writer, this website has incredible tools on how to get started and flourish.
Also, if you’re interested in publishing your own material you should check out The Well-Fed Self-Publisher.
Though these are just two offerings from The Well-Fed Writer, there are many many more resources available. To every writer, I would recommend at least a perusal of this site.
When I saw this advertisement, something in my soul died a little bit. But then I learned this isn’t a typo! Until earlier today I would have called this a rookie mistake. To make this sentence grammatically and conceptually sound, leaving the slang intact, it would have to say: “No Rent ’til Halloween”.

Turns out I was mistaken. Apparently “till” doesn’t just mean to cultivate the land, but it also means up to the time of or until. I was prepared to write the business owners off as linguistically decrepit, but it turns out they were just using their banner space effectively. (The fact that it was still up after Halloween is a little silly though.)
